Super nice and friendly owners. Latte was super good! Bolo bun is fantastic (must try)! They have different kind of coffee beans and you can get it freshly grinded.
Half boiled egg, Gula Melaka coffee, Nasi lemak, Polo bun with egg mayo, Butter & Kaya Thanks to our grab driver, we get to try this. The coffee is so nice, it’s not too sweet, you can still taste the bitter from the coffee. The food was good and the price is also friendly. Best part of it was the aunties are really nice, we talk, share stories, and they are so nice. Place, it’s comfortable. If you go here don’t forget to by the coffee and gula Melaka so you can make it at home. see you again aunty!
A very homely, simple traditional coffee shop with a simple menu. We had their traditional Kopi and Kaya toast. It was delicious . Owners are very friendly and we had a good time.
Very old school coffee house with traditional local bfast food. Very simple menu. Tried the Kaya toast, polo bun egg mayo, nasi lemak, soft boiled eggs and a cuppa coffee & milk tea. Toast was crispy and generous amount of butter. Polo bun had a nice toasted outer layer and generous amt of egg mayo. Coffee was fragrant and not too sweet. Milk tea was good! Love the traditional vibes and decor of the coffeehouse! Price was also very reasonable!
We almost wanted to go to Siang Chiang but a local friend recommended us to try this kopitiam instead. Old school kopitiam run by lady bosses! The kopi here is very good, it is smooth, not too bitter and definitely not sour. Also not too sweet (you know how some places can go to town with the condensed milk). The soft boiled eggs were good too. I would reorder these two items. If you’re in the area can give it a try, although the food options are limited. The kaya toast and polo bun were ok. Nasi lemak ok. Nyonya kueh too doughy. The place is tidy and clean. We didn’t use their toilet so can’t comment. Service is good. As we’re leaving we stood outside the cafe a minute or so trying to get our bearings and see how to get to the next cafe on Google Map. One of the lady bosses approached us and asked us where we’re heading and verbally directed us on how to get there, which is very kind and nice of her. The 5th star is for this reason. :)
A very nice traditional coffee place. They serve traditional kopi as well as western coffees. Went there a bit over three and they were already cleaning up, but the staff there (a bunch of friendly aunties) allowed us in even so! The service were nice, the egg mayo croissant was tasty as well! Note that the coffee is a little bit on the bitter end (butter coffee and affogato), but my dad really like it! Would visit again and be sure to be there early to enjoy the full range of the menu.
